Job Core:-
• Develop strategic marketing plans utilizing the full marketing mix and setting targets in collaboration with the event manager and the Managing Director
• Conduct thorough market analysis (including but not limited to: internal data analysis and external research, target market segmentation, identification of industry trends)
• Monitor competitive events and their performance, cost, and market penetration
• Prepare and implement marketing plans, campaigns, and timelines for the entire event portfolio involving writing copy (print and web) and select channels of communication as well as coordinate all ongoing marketing initiatives
• Develop and manage a budget for each event and its campaign
• Develop and implement PR strategy to acquire and deliver high impact media presence in print and online media
• Manage the organizations databases and CRM systems to select and accurately target groups and individuals for each campaign
• Manage all social media channels and develop an editorial calendar and prepare media content to increase customer engagement
• Work with the design team to develop innovative and creative printed material and advertisements
• Identify promotional opportunities and relationships and negotiate marketing partnerships or discounts on external advertising/insertions with regional and international media outlets
• Effectively develop and maintain professional relationships with external suppliers (list rentals or exchanges, printers, mail houses, creative agencies, email marketing providers to coordinate creative campaigns, mail dates, etc.), press, sponsors, and partner associations
• Manage, mentor and motivate team members
• Collaborate with sales team to plan and implement exhibitor sales marketing campaign
• Prepare thorough analysis of campaign results with a view to refining programs in real time to improve efficiency & effectiveness
